Bring out your pink Pinarellos, Colnagos, Bianchis and come ride with us! And get ready for the Tour of California in the middle of May! It's Baldy and LA Live all the way baby!

GMR Epic is About to Begin...

The Kraken surged hard against the chain that are shackled to its body. The mighty effort only resulted in a tightening of the secured chain, which is made of tungsten carbide and is the strongest and heaviest metal known to man. The Kraken howled its frustration loudly! The Beast can sense something new approaches. In the thin air high above sea level, the Beast can smell the fear of some of the approaching riders to the GMR slope, and know that it will feast on the riders to the full! "Release the Kraken" declared Captain "Zeus" Thomas! The VeloViets and their friends are about to embark on another epic GMR ride. Stay tune! |
San Dimas Stage Race Extravaganza!

A weekend-full of hard racing just completed today for VeloViet Racer FedEx. Stage 1 was a hard uphill Time Trial on the Glendora Mountains. Stage 2 was two hours of racing around the Bonelli Loop. Today's stage 3 was a criterium around the beautiful city of San Dimas. This race is a popular one and attracts both Cat 4/5 and Pro/1/2/3 Men's and Women's Teams. FedEx placed 38th overall in the Cat 4 Men's Division. Congratulations FedEx! Lots of photos were taken and are available in the GALLERY area. Solvang Century Completed!

VeloViet' Century Team hit the Danish town of Solvang today to ride in the 104 mile Solvang Century. Lead by Century Captain Keith and Road Captain Scott, the team stick together and all completed the ride together! Lots of photos were taken! We will load some up to the GALLERY area. The VeloViets hit even more racing today at the Piru Time Trial. Representing the club were Haldane, Kristy, Roxy, Martin, and David. Under the tutelage of Coach Haldane and racer Kristy, race "rookies" Martin, David, and Roxy captured 3rd, 2nd, and 1st in their respective categories! Wow! Congrats teammates from the VeloViets! |

Rose officially became the first VeloViet member to formally race in a full VeloViet kit in a 2012 race! Whooo... Hooo! Rose is a Cat 4 racer and she placed 7th with a time of 26:37 on the hilly course at the Tom's Farm Time Trial this past Sunday. Congratulations Rose from the VeloViet Team! |
