One by one, the riders left the starting point and headed northward. Embracing the tranquility and slight chill of a desert morning, Kiet and I established a tempo to warm up. We rode together for a while and chit chatted along the way. At approximately mile 8, I looked back and did not see Kiet. I slowed down but he didn’t catch up. Preparation for 2012 PSC

I struggled as the road steepen on Newport Coast. Tan was going for it from the front of A2 group and I was hanging on for dear life. We manged to get in front of the red light at Pelican Hills while everyone else was trapped by the light. Part way up this hill, I turned and watch all the protagonists struggle up the steep climb far away from me. No way were they going to catch me, I thought. I surged and pulled pass Tan. We were swallowed into the dark hole! The large pack seemed to even blocked out the sun! There is only the mechanical noise of 1000+ chains rotating in unison. VeloViet Racing Begins!

You asked for it... you got it! Details of the new VeloViet racing team were discussed today with Captain Thomas. The club will put together the best training program and support crerw to support its racers. Orchard Hills and SkyPark will be added as some of the new training ground that our racers will practice on. So how fast is VeloViet's member FedEx really? To be honest, we are not really sure. We do know that he has the leader's jersey to prove it. He is among one of our fastest guy in the club. He has buddies named The Beast, IronMan, The Archer, and BigH. FedEx always attacked from the front of the pack, regardless of who is in front. His main terrain is hill, but seems to have no trouble on the flat either. With FedEx, you are guaranteed that he will deliver an exciting ride!
